Subscription, Billing & Refund Policy
1. Subscription Tiers and Quotas
Our Service offers the following subscription plans:

2. Billing Cycle and Payment

Billing occurs monthly or annually, depending on the chosen plan.

Annual subscriptions are billed fully upfront.

Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled.

Payment Methods: Credit card, debit card, SEPA bank transfer via Stripe.

3. Payment Processor

Payments are processed securely through Stripe.

Stripe manages card tokenization and recurring subscription logic.

Invoices are generated automatically through Stripe for every billing event.

Payment failures trigger:

3-day grace period

Stripe retries payment according to its default schedule

Users can update payment methods during the retry period
-
Unresolved failures lead to subscription suspension and eventual cancellation

4. Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing.

Users will receive at least 30 days’ prior notice via email before new pricing takes effect.

Price changes apply from the next billing cycle.
5. Cancellation

Users may cancel their subscription at any time.
-
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
-
Unused quota does not roll over. Access remains until the end of the paid period.
6. Refunds
6.1 EU & German Consumer Withdrawal (14-Day Cooling-Off Period)

EU/German consumers may cancel their initial purchase within 14 days unless they explicitly waive this right.
If the withdrawal right is not waived:

The 14-day cooling-off period remains active.

During this period, the user receives partial access to the monthly chart quota.

The quota is provided proportionally over time, equal to 1/30th of the monthly quota per day (e.g., 100 charts/month → ~3.33 charts/day. Rounded up in favor of the user).

Users may cancel within 14 days at any time.

Refunds are calculated based on the portion of the service not yet delivered:
Refund = (Remaining days in billing period ÷ 30) × Monthly subscription price
Example:
Withdrawal on day 10 → 20/30 days undelivered → refund = 66.67% of the monthly price.Usage-based proration does not apply here, because withdrawal refunds are tied to performance delivered over time, not charts used.
If the withdrawal right is waived:

The user receives immediate full access to the complete monthly quota.

The statutory 14-day withdrawal right ends immediately.

No statutory withdrawal refunds apply.

Users may still cancel future billing periods at any time.
Users may waive their withdrawal right at checkout or at any time during the 14-day window.
6.2 Post-14-Day or Non-EU Refunds
After the initial 14-day period, or for customers outside the EU/Germany:

Subscriptions are non-refundable for partially used billing periods.

Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.

Plan downgrades do not generate refunds for the ongoing billing period.
Discretionary refunds:
We may issue full or partial refunds at our discretion in cases such as accidental purchases or significant technical issues. This does not create a precedent or obligation for future cases. -
7. Invoicing & Tax Handling

Invoices include company name, address, VAT ID, and transaction details.

EU customers: VAT charged per OSS/MOSS rules based on customer location. EU business customers must provide VAT ID for reverse-charge eligibility.

US customers: No sales tax applied unless required by local law.

Billing currency: EUR for EU, USD for US.
8. Upgrades & Plan Changes

Upgrades or downgrades take effect from the next billing cycle.

Quota is adjusted according to the new plan from that cycle onward.

Refunds for current cycle are not provided.
9. Access During Withdrawal Period

If EU consumers do not waive their withdrawal rights, full access is granted immediately.

Refunds for early withdrawal are calculated pro-rata based on unused quota.
10. Disputes and Chargebacks

Users should contact support before initiating disputes or chargebacks.

Support will respond within 7 business days.
-
Unauthorized chargebacks may temporarily suspend access until resolved.
